We made this cushion on enviro day. we printed and sewed the leaves. Tayla's clever Mum sewed it into a cushion for us. It is going to be in the library.

This week we have been using our white hat for thinking and writing facts we know about penguins.

These are some facts Kees wrote:
Penguins can swim.
Penguins can't fly.
Pengins can dive under water.
They are black and white.
They like the snow.

Yeh... we have our beanies! Mrs Hogan came and brought us our prizes for being half way in our winter warmers booklet. We have been reading some great stories about penguins, fish and dragons. We are keeping warm. Are you?

We heard about the diamond terrapin turtles that walked across JFK airport runway and held up the planes for 3 hours! They were walking to their nesting place.
It is very important for turtles to find their nesting place each year.
