Special Dads
We know a very brave and special dad.Once he made his helicopter hover so a man could be rescued and he got a medal .We think he is a special dad because he follows the red part of the rainbow and shows he cares for other people. Can we all care for someone who is special to us this week. Make a comment our blog about who you cared for.

A sad day for New Zealand.
Today we learnt that Kashin the elephant had died.We think it is very sad especially for the people who work at the zoo.We are writing an e-mail to them.We think the zoo should get another elephant. We found some neat photos of kashin on www.nzherald.co.nz so visit this site with your family and discover why kashin was New Zealands most loved animal.

Our college teacher - Miss Frost
I am Miss Frost and I will be in Room F until the end of week 5. This is my final teaching placement before I head out into the REAL teaching world next year - exciting! I am from Feilding, but I am studying through the Christchurch teachers college. My time so far has been fantastic, with lots of learning taking place (for both the children and myself) and much more to come.
On enviro. day we all made our own reusable shopping bags.We are using them when our families go shopping. Did you know NZ uses 3 million plastic shooping bags a day and up to 100,000 animals like seals, whales and turtles die from eating or being tangled in a plastic bags?Help us save them.Take a reusable bag when YOU go shopping.
